the impact

Hand printed.

Hand printed fabric is more than just beautiful and unique, it’s also better for the environment. Printing by hand means using fewer machines, which means less fuel used, and less power consumed.

Think ink.

We print using only water-based, solvent-free inks. Not only are they better for the environment, but they also feel softer on the fabric, unlike some inks which can feel "crunchy".

Natural fabrics.

We print exclusively with water-based inks, on natural, eco-friendly fabrics, such as 100% linen and 100% certified organic cotton. Organic cotton retains the soft feel and easy care of regular cotton, but is grown without the use of harsh fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. We use 100% European linen, a strong lightweight natural fabric made from the fibers of the flax plant. True linen is naturally eco-friendly, and all natural fibers are sustainable as they can be grown responsibly year after year.

Keep it close.

All Paper Cloud products are printed and made in the U.S. This ensures that each product is made using fair labor practices. Keeping our production local also reduces emissions and massive fossil fuel consumption caused by shipping products or materials overseas via cargo plane or ship.

Reuse it.

We use recycled paper for our product packaging whenever possible. We also reuse boxes and packing materials, and use biodegradable cornstarch peanuts to pack fragile materials.
